Most of the DJ orientated apps for the Ipad have been pretty lame... until now.

Borrowing heavily from the Mac version of the software, this new Ipad version will be the one the rest will have to match up against.

The Algoriddim blurb..

Djay transforms your iPad into a full-fledged DJ system, allowing you to mix your iTunes music library on a hyper-realistic turntable interface. Perform live, record mixes on-the-go, or enable Automix mode and let djay mix your favorite playlist automatically. With unprecedented ease-of-use and innovative multi-touch mixing features, djay for iPad takes DJing to the next level and offers a unique experience for beginners and professionals alike.

Automatic beat & tempo detection

djay’s sophisticated on-the-fly song analysis calculates the beats per minute (BPM) and exact location of each beat, laying the groundwork for a host of other features including Auto-Sync and beat-synchronized scratching.

djay's advanced audio wave form display gives you an overview of a song's structure and allows you to visually cue to specific points to prepare the prefect transition.
Auto-Cut Scratching™

Auto-Cut Scratching automatically applies the rhythmic pattern of the currently playing song to your scratches in real-time. Simply touch and move the record with two fingers to create stunning effects and go beyond the possibilities of the analog world.

Mixer and EQ controls
3-band equalizers, gain, line faders, and a crossfader give you all the tools you need to seamlessly blend one song into another.

Broadcast your mix

Broadcast your mix via AirPlay djay takes full advantage of Apple's AirPlay technology introduced in iOS 4.2. Stream your mix wirelessly to Apple TV, AirPort Express station, or any AirPlay-supported speaker dock, AV receiver, and stereo system.
Fully optimized for iOS 4 multitasking and background operation

Fully optimized for iOS 4 multitasking and background operation Run djay in Automix mode and listen to a continuous, seamless mix running in the background while you surf the web, play games, etc.

World-class sound
Building on the iPad's superior audio system, djay offers pristine sound quality and ultra-low latency, with support for popular audio formats like MP3 and AAC.

Preview and prepare the next song through headphones: by enabling djay's Split Output mode you can cue songs through headphones independently from the mix that goes through the main speakers. All you need is a stereo/mono split cable, and djay will send the master output to the left channel and the cue output to the right channel (which is always the opposite turntable to the one audible through the master channel).
